Following recent growth, we’re delighted to have appointed two new talented team members here at r//evolution.

We have welcomed Alec Pritchard as Lead Backend Developer and Oliver Cook as Account Executive to our office at the Northern Design Centre in Gateshead, increasing our overall headcount to thirteen across our four main service areas - Digital, Communications, Online Marketing and Design.

With a wealth of experience in web development, across both in-house and agency roles, Alec has worked on many diverse development projects so he’s well placed to support and advise our clients when it comes to web development. Alec’s now also our resident DJ with a passion for great music and vinyl records!

We asked Alec about his new position and here’s what he had to say: “I’m really excited about joining the team at r//evolution. The drive of the business and where they want to go in the next few years is exciting and I wanted to be part of that journey. What really appealed to me about r//evolution is the collaborative and well organised approach to project delivery.”

Photography enthusiast, Oliver, has joined the team following an internship with us earlier this year. In addition to recently graduating from Newcastle University with an MA in Media & Public Relations, Oliver has experience working in customer service, social media and as PR and Marketing assistant at a venture capital firm so he’s a great addition to the communications team.

Oliver said: “The internship was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I learned so much - getting to see what life is like working in an innovative marketing agency on a day-to-day basis. I’ve been able to apply the theoretical skills I learned at University, but more importantly I have been able to  develop new abilities and experience working with clients. For a successful business like r//evolution to see potential in me is a fantastic feeling.”

It’s safe to say we’re an ambitious agency and the first half of 2017 has been very exciting for us, with a number of new client acquisitions and establishing our dedicated online marketing service. To achieve growth and to continue to stay at the top of our game, we are always on the lookout for talented and passionate people to join our team.

Alec and Oliver are exactly the kind of people we want to invest in to improve our already excellent customer service and the strong technical skills that we offer for our clients. We’re also excited that their contribution will further add to our ability to build on our growing portfolio of clients allowing us to continue to develop as a creative marketing agency.
