NBSL has been supporting enterprise since 2007, helping businesses across the North East create more than 1,000 jobs with their funding and support programmes.

With their latest tranche of funding, NBSL is able to give businesses up to 35% of funding for business improvement projects - including marketing planning, design costs for marketing, website design and development projects - which cost between £3,000 and £8,000 (the maximum grant is £2,800).

To be eligible for this funding, you need to run a business based in Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, County Durham or Sunderland and have plans to grow turnover and/or employ more staff in the future.
