We’ve launched our Christmas charity campaign

As it is the season of joy and goodwill, we thought that, rather than sending corporate Christmas cards this year, we would support three very worthy charities.

Following on from the success of our 2016 Christmas campaign, we’ve selected Mind, Durham Association of Boys and Girls Clubs (DABGC) and Henry Dancer Days. Each charity will receive a share of our donation.

All you need to do is select the charity you’d like to receive a donation from us and they will receive their share of the votes as a donation.

In order to help you make up your mind, we thought we would tell you a little bit about each of our chosen charities:

Mind

The mental health charity provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health problems. The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health issues.

Find out more about Mind here.

Durham Association of Boys and Girls Clubs (DABGC)

DABGC aim to foster and support the development of clubs in areas of need, presenting opportunities that allow young people in the North East, from the Tyne to the Tees the chance to learn and grow.

Find out more about DABGC here.

Henry Dancer Days

Henry Dancer Days supports children and young people with cancer. The charity was set up in memory of Henry John Dancer, who died in 2010 from Osteosarcoma, aged just 12. The charity provides grants to the families of children undergoing treatment for primary bone cancer, a rare type of cancer.

Find out more about Henry Dancer Days here.

Last year, our Christmas campaign was a huge success and our donation was split between Willowburn Hospice, Children North East and Action Foundation.

You can only vote for your chosen charity once so pick carefully. Voting closes on Sunday 24 December 2017 and the charities will receive their share of the donation in the new year.
